Here’s what people have to say about their Blooming Generations experience…

Monia with her 3 sweethearts

Jessica helped me ease into my homeschooling decision with compassion and patience during my long list of questions, concerns, and unknowns. At a time when I was the first in my circle of friends and family who decided to homeschool, headed into the journey solo, she was there to guide me and to cheer me on. Her wealth of knowledge got me through the unknown and gave me the confidence to believe in myself.

Wendy had a twin birth in the hospital after a homebirth

Jessica has been a safe tower and cistern in the midst of my parenting journey. She listens and shared wisdom without judgment or shame and most importantly she refreshes my confidence in my ability to be the best mother I can be to my eight children.

Michelle had a beautiful homebirth after cesarean and enjoyed nursing her children into toddlerhood

The guidance Jessica offered when each of my children were born was priceless.  She unlocked my confidence as a new mother and made those years with little ones the best of my life.

Mandy and Peyton with my mama Diane and daughters Alexis and Audree. Her comments might be a bit biased since we call each other family!

When I met Jessica I was 18 years old and could not successfully toast a piece of bread. Arriving in her life with the best recipe for burnt toast, I also arrived with lots of baggage. Literally and figuratively. I had recently been abandoned by my own mother. Maternal abandonment comes with a lot of trauma. That goes without saying, but there’s a lot it doesn’t come with too. My intuition. My trust in my capabilities as a woman. I had no one guiding me and teaching me how to tap into that innate wisdom that as women and mothers we all have available, just waiting for us to notice.

I gave birth to my first and only daughter in 2008. I had no idea what I was doing. Jessica nurtured me as only a mother could. Through her loving nurturing and wisdom she helped me nurse my baby. I went on to nurse for almost FIVE years. Over the years she has taught me the importance of traditionally nourishing food. She has guided me through my homeschooling adventure. She has given me the confidence to be my daughter’s educational advocate.

My daughter is now a teenager and Jessica and I have spent many hours on the phone as she gives me ideas on how to consciously raise my daughter with traditional wisdom for modern parenting. She has mothered me with loving wisdom for over 17 years. Jessica has a heart and passion for new and seasoned mamas alike. Invest in yourself and allow Jessica to help you on this journey we call parenting. She will guide you to that intuition that you have within you right now.

Although I’ve known Jessica for most of my life, I have been especially grateful for her friendship and wisdom since starting my parenting journey 17 years ago. She has been an incredible resource for practical things like nutrition and natural remedies. But, beyond that, her emotional guidance has been invaluable.

I remember when my son was 4 years old and ready to wean but I was having a hard time with it. I called Jessica and she helped me to understand and recognize his cues and how to make the process less confusing and gentle on both of us. Thank you, Jessica, for always being there when I needed you and for being a part of why my son and I have such a happy and healthy relationship today.

Jen, Audree, and me with precious Jordyn. Audree and I always called her the fairy baby.

After 5 years of struggling with getting pregnant, and several failed fertility treatments, someone suggested I talk to Jessica. What a life change that was! Jessica isn’t just a wealth of knowledge, she believes in equipping people to do what they’ve been called to do.

I felt both encouraged and empowered after every meeting with Jessica. She taught me so much about my own body and ways to strengthen it and after only 4 short months of using the tools and wisdom Jes shared with me, I became pregnant with our first of three miracle babies!

Once my daughter arrived I found that being a first-time mom was more overwhelming than I thought. I had taken care of dozens of babies, so this should have been easy, right? But the love I had for that wee baby could make things like fevers and sleep regressions seem frightening. Jessica was a tremendous help to me in the early years of parenting. She helped share her fact-based knowledge and I always felt listened to and affirmed. I am a better mom today because of Jessica’s wisdom and care!

Jessica was my doula with my first pregnancy. She was patient, supportive, and kind. I relied on her for support both physically and mentally.

She also provided great advice while I was learning to nurse my baby. What a struggle it was to figure everything out and my milk came in quite late but Jessica kept encouraging me and she was right. It all worked out! I’m so thankful that she was by my side to help me through it all!
